Margaret was the first wife of Renseler Adsit. They were married in Warren County, Ohio on February 16, 1832. Ren affectionately called Margaret, "Meg". She from then on became Aunt Meg to nieces, nephews and friends. Meg and Ren had five known children; Palmer, Mary Ellen, Julian (Julia Ann), Arthur Silas and a stillborn infant. Meg was a devout Christian woman and treasured her family.
