He was born February 16, 1915 in Brodhead, the son of Jim and Belle Farris
Adams, was a retired construction truck driver and an Army veteran of WWII.
Survivors are two sons, Jimmy Barnes Adams (Patricia) of Gainesville, FL and
Bobby Mack Adams (Marie) of Madison, AL; three grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Burdette Barnes
Adams.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 22 at the Marvin E. Owens
Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Buford Parkerson officiating. Burial was in the
Piney Grove Cemetery.
Casketbearers were: Bill Gentry, Marshall McKinney, Johnny Newland, William
Bentley, Bryan Bussell and Leonard Bishop.
