Jared Arnold Rites Monday
Services for Jared W Arnold a former resident of this City who died suddenly at Cheboygan Community hospital early Saturday morning were held in Cheboygan Sunday afternoon and the body was brought here to the Weaver Reynolds funeral home where Rev. Lester Anderson of Cheboygon formerly of Traverse City preached the funeral sermon Monday afternoon Internment was made in the Acme cemetery.
Mr. Arnold was born at Bates, April 22, and spent the greater part of his life in this region. in 1940 he moved to Cheboygan where he had since managed Riverside Orchard.
Surviving besides his widow, are one son Detonda of ElkRapids, three stepchildren, Harry Fox, Mrs. Marguerite Hormuth and Mrs. Ruth Taylor all of Traverse City, several grandchildren, three brothers Howard and Gaylord of Williamsburg and Homer of Lansing, four sisters, Mrs. Alice Dockery of Kewadin, Mrs. Clara Buller of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Maud Enquist of Williamsburg and Mrs. Marie Zick of Ionia besides nieces and nephews.
