Singer. Original member and founder of the musical group "The Kings Five" (1961). He was 1st lead and bass singer. Credit is given to Jessie for coming up with the group name. The group based out of Chester, Pennsylvania, members included Harry Jackson, George Anderson, Charles Brooks and George Harris. "The Kings Five" performed on stage with such greats as The Isley Brothers, Patti La belle and the Blue Bells, Frankie Lyman, Maureen Gray and many others. They performed in Margate, New Jersey for Jerry Blavat, a New Jersey disc jockey. In 1961 they recorded "I Hear The Rain" and "The Voo Doo Man" for Trophy Records. Like so many other Doo Whoop singers of the 50's and 60's, they to were either under paid or not paid at all.

I remember the rehearsals these guys gave the neighborhood. You would hear their voices coming out the window. Jessie, RIP.
