SPARROWBUSH, NY — Gertrude Anne Aber age 83 of Sparrowbush, NY passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Place, Port Jervis, NY.
She was born on April 13, 1932 in Port Jervis, the daughter of Walter G. and Hildegarde Buddecke Akt. Gertrude married Robert D. Aber who pre-deceased her on December 11, 2014.
She is survived by her two sons Gary Aber and his wife Patricia of Pleasant Valley, NY Bryan Aber of Gokan, Alaska, her daughter Barbara Ryan and her husband Sean of Raleigh, N.C. , her three grandchildren, Lauren Aber, Patrick and Hohn Ryan, her brother Walter G. Akt and his wife of Pond Eddy, NY, several nieces and nephews.
Gertrude was pre-deceased by her son David who passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015.
Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 31 W Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771.
