KENTON - Sarah Adkins, 83, of here, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday at her residence. She was born July, 1908, in Magoffin County, Ky., the daughter of Sidney P. and Arzella Walters Hurt. On Aug. 24, 1929, she married Wiley Adkins, who survives. Mrs. Adkins was a member of Quickstep Church of Alger. Other survivors include three sons, four daughters, 24 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and five sisters, Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Kenton, with Revs. James Holbrook and Gordon Burger officiating. Burial will be in Fairview-McDonald Cemetery, west of Kenton. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hardin Hospice Care.
