Dorothy Marie Crum, 95, retired Dental and Dr. Assistant, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004 (Oct. 30, 2004). Services will be 2pm on Thursday, at the Mulvane United Methodist Church. Friends may visit the mortuary Wed. 2pm until 8pm. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Galen S. and Evona Crum of Mulvane; daughter, Lucretia Stetler of Wichita; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Crum of Howard; grandchildren- Gail, Steve, Kelly, Bruce, Chip, Brian and Casey; 8 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold and her son, William E. Crum. Mrs. Crum was a member of Mulvane United Methodist Church, where she had served on the Board and sang in the Choir. She had also formerly served on the Mulvane Cemetery Board; as a sewing leader for 4-H; assisted in implementing the Mulvane Civil Defense; active in the Sumner County Historical Society; founder and past-President of B.P.W.; past-Worthy Matron of Fern O.E.S.; and past-President of Mulvane Women's Club. Dorothy was a wonderful cook and seamstress whose family was of prime importance to her. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Memorial is established with the Sumner County Historical Society or Mulvane United Methodist Church in care of Senter-Smith Mortuary, Mulvane. (from Wichita Eagle 11/3/2004).

Services were held at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at the Mulvane United Methodist Church. Rev. Anne Rosebrock of the College Hill United Methodist Church and Dr. Tom Sheldon, Mulvane United Methodist Church, officiated.

Chris Crum, Billy Dan Crum, Todd Crum, Fred Stetler, Frank Stetler, Curt Hoobler.
