Well Known Carpenter Dies Following an Illness of Four Months

James W. Barto, 72, of 451 West Barner street died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock following an illness of four months with a complication of ailments.
Mr. Barto had lived in Frankfort for 37 years and was a carpenter by trade. He was born in Madison, Ind., February 26, 1864, a son of Aaron and Deborah (Marshall) Barto. In March, 1885, he was married to Nancy Keys who died 43 years ago.
Besides one daughter, Mrs. Cleo Roberts of Indianapolis, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hollis of Frankfort and Mrs. Ida Lewis of Dubuque, Ia.
Funeral services will be held at the Weidner & Kent funeral home at 3:45 o'clock this afternoon, with the Rev. A.R. Huber of the First Christian church officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
