Angel was extremely proud to have served in the U.S. Army. She was considering making the Army her career until she sustained an injury, which forced her to take a medical discharge.
She returned home and went back to school which led her to a career in education. She currently was serving as a Special Education Teacher in Seaside, Calif. One of her favorite pass times was camping with friends and family. Angel was passionate about maintaining a close knit family unit and made family gatherings & celebrations a priority.
Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Ramon and Alice Romero. Paternal grandfather; Ricardo Arellano. Angel is survived by Symone Collins (daughter), Yazmeen Arellano (daughter), Elena Romero (mother), Mikaela Romero (sister), Jeanette Romero (sister) Melly Arellano (father), Rene Arellano (brother), Bernarda Arellano (paternal grandmother).
Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. @ Reardon Payton Mortuary, 511 North A. St., Oxnard, Calif. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at Wells Fargo Bank in the name of: Angel's Memorial Fund for her Angels Symone & Yazmeen.
