Due to a short illness, William George Brown, an uncommon man with a common name, left his earthly home on June 23, 2008, in his home where he was gently cared for by his loving wife and children in his last days.
He was born Feb 12, 1948, to Mildred and William Brown in Burley, Idaho. When he was three, his family moved to Emmett, Idaho. William attended various schools in the Emmett area. He remembered his childhood fondly, filled with daring escapades, laughter, and love.
William married Pansie Lee Yates on Sept 12, 1967. Five months later, he was drafted into the Army.
He worked at Boise Cascade in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, Woodgrain Moulding in Fruitland, Idaho and his last job was K & A Supply LLC in Nampa, Idaho. He was a hard working man, and his children were his greatest joy. He loved them unconditionally and was immensely proud of each and every one of them. He had the gift of tolerance and knew the power of forgiveness.
William was known for his fierce competitiveness in sports, especially when playing. He was a loyal fan to the Green Bay Packers, Celtics, Yankees and John Wayne movies.
Hunting was a big part of his life especially when the family was all going.
