Davis Leroy "Andy" Anderson, 71, of Gaar Corner passed away on August 25, 1995. He was born on May 8, 1924 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Daniel and Mary Watson Anderson. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a medic and was an active member of the Amvets. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He and Leah Marjorie Asbury were married on December 30, 1950 in Oceanside, California. He was preceded in death by a son, David Anderson. His survivors include his wife, Leah of the home; two sons, Richard Anderson of Ada, Oklahoma and Scott Anderson of Gaar Corner; three daughters, Leah Delozier and Gloria Smith, both of Pickett and Louisa Lawrence of Talihina, Oklahoma; two sisters, Juanita Stiles of Gaar Corner and Edna Letterman of Stratford, Oklahoma, and 12 grandchildren.
