Mrs. William (Flossie) Bailey, 81, died today at the Williams County General Hospital, where she had been a patient since Feb. 4.
She was born in Camden Oct. 13, 1889, to Dr. W.A. and Ortensa chester Oliver.
Active in community groups, Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Pioneer United Methodist Church, the WSCS of the church, the Circle 4 of the church, a member and past regent of Scout David Williams Chapter, DAR, a past matron of Camden and Pioneer OES chapters and a life member and worth matron of Chapter No.407, OES, in Pioneer. Mrs. Bailey was also a teacher in the Camden school for five years.
She married William Bailey in Camden on June 16, 1914. He preceded her in death in 1961.
Surviving are one brother, Clark C. of Grand Rapids and seven nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at the Pioneer United Methodist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev Estel Kauffman officiating. Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Interment is to be in the Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.
