She was a member of the Humane Society and the Desoto County Animal Rescue. She was very sensitive to the needs and care of animals. She was an avid flower gardener and a member of Martin Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Margie J. Murphy of New Albany; her husband, Andy Gaines of New Albany; a daughter, Lacie Morgan Broadus of Olive Branch; a son, Sean Andrews Ingram of Memphis; two sisters, Deborah Dianne Langston of Lakeland, Tenn. and Rhonda Sue Stacks of Hernando; and a brother, Gregory Wayne Murphy of Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Morgan Murphy Jr.
