Mr. Brett, a native of Tattnall County, was a 1998 graduate of Camden County High School and attended the Heart of Georgia Technical School in Dublin. He had resided in Camden County for the past 17 years and was a Baptist. He was employed with Thomas Collision Center in Folkston.
The funeral was Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at the Bethesda Primitive Baptist Church, Wadley, with the Rev. Audley Roberts officiating. Burial was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Curt and Sandy Brett, Kingsland; grandparents, Virgil and Julia Brett, Wadley and Oscar and Helen Brazell, Kingsland.
Pallbearers were Dan Brett, Ty Brett, Walker Brazell, Terrell Brazell, Kevin Brazell, Jeffrey Brazell and Christopher Brazell.
Honorary pallbearers were Joss Josselyn, Jamie Marr, Burt Lewis, Billy Bumgarner, Stephen Wynn, Donnie Sylvester, Kevin Dalton, Rusty Thompson and Paul Spivey.
Allison Memorial Chapel, St. Marys, was in charge of the arrangements.
