Ben G. Mallonee was born December 9, 1930 in Springfield, MO. He was a Navy veteran. He married Mary L. Wallace in 1954 and they had four children: Ben Jr., Janet, Deanne, and Nancy. When not working as an auto mechanic, he enjoyed playing poker, hunting, and watching westerns on TV. On his way back to work following a lunch break, he was in a motorcycle accident on August 8, 1968 and died two days later from his injuries. He was buried in his hometown of Springfield, MO at Springfield National Cemetery.
