Mary Kathleen "Kaye" Annesser, 90, of Findlay, passed away at 12:23 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2011, at The Heritage, Findlay. She was born on July 30, 1920, to the late John F. and Mary E. (Spangler) Kelley, Sr. in Leipsic, OH. She married Robert F. Annesser on August 16, 1945, and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1997.

Kaye is survived by three children: Roberta Kaye Lyon of Findlay, Mary Lynne (Michael) Lear of Findlay, and Steven Kelley (Sandra) Annesser of Waterville, OH; two brothers: John F. (June) Kelley, Jr. of Santa Barbara, CA and Donald D. (Betty) Kelley of Bloomington, IN; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Eugene R. Kelley and Thomas M. Kelley.

Kaye was a homemaker and a sales representative for World Book Encyclopedias. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Altar Rosary Society and Four Seasons Garden Club. She was also a charter member of the K of C Leo Councilettes and Orphan Annie Investment Club.

Kaye enjoyed playing bridge with her husband and friends, and in her weekly ladies group. She was an avid reader of mystery novels, and loved to play golf and attend Jamie Farr golf matches. Kaye liked traveling and went on many cruises with family and friends. She enjoyed collecting wind chimes and receiving butterfly gifts of any kind, especially suncatchers.

In later years she also started to enjoy receiving angel gifts.

Over the last five years Kaye won several medals in the Senior Olympics for wheelchair racing, of which she was very proud. Kaye always had a smile and a friendly "hello" for everyone. She was a survivor of skin cancer, but suffered from other medical issues including diabetes and in recent years from Alzheimer's.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 21 2011, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Downtown, with Father Christopher Bohnsack, Celebrant. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation took place June 20, 2011, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where a rosary service was held at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Cancer Patient Services, St. Michael the Archangel Parish, and/or the Alzheimer's Association of NWO, in her memory.
