Francisco "Kiko" Avelar, 69, passed away on July 23, 2008. He is preceded in death by his father Juan Avelar Sr., brother Juan Avelar Jr.; son Ricky Avelar. He is remembered by his mother Esperanza Avelar; daughters Rosa & Jessica Negrete & Irma Avelar; sons Alfredo & Bobby Avelar; sister Maria Elena Avelar; brothers Roberto, Rodolfo, Salvador & Luis Avelar; grandchildren Andy, Jailene, Caitlyn & Hazel. The family would like to express a "heartfelt thank you" to Bonnie, Roberto & Jaime Avelar for the loving care they showed our father. Dad you will forever live in our hearts. Visitation: 2-5:30 PM, today at San Jose Funeral Home-Fabens. Vigil Service: 7:00 P.M, today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Fabens. Funeral Mass: 9:00 A.M., Sat. July 26 at the same church followed by burial at Fabens Catholic Cemetery. Services directed by San Jose Funeral Home-Fabens.
