Birth: 1872
Death: 1942
Saint Louis
St. Louis City
Missouri, USA

While trained as a pharmacist, Otis T. Hodge
gained local fame in St. Louis for starting
a popular restaurant and chili parlor in the
early 1900's, "O.T. Hodge's," which continued
as a franchise restaurant until the 1990's,
when the name was closed. He also patented a popular brand recipe for canned chili, now no longer commercially sold.

He and his wife are buried under a companion
Barre Grey granite upright monument at Oak Grove Cemetery on St. Charles Rock Road. His chili parlor is still widely remembered by many St. Louisans as a popular local eatery.
