CRITTENDEN COUNTY KENTUCKY PRESS OBITUARY – 02/28/2008
Robert E. “Bob” Clements, 85, of Paducah died Monday, February 25, 2008 at 5:15 a.m., at his home. He was a native of Louisville and owned the former Bob Clements Automotive Repair Services, was the owner of Anna Bowl in Anna, IL, part owner of Princeton Bowling Center, served in the US Army during World War II, was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, and a life member of the Knights of Columbus. Clements was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Bertrand Clements and Mary Eleanor Clements; a son, Robert A. Clements; and two brothers. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Norita Agnes Thibodeaux Clements of Paducah; four daughters, Lola Newman of Columbus, GA, Norita Alexander of Independence, KY, Edna Lindemann of Ft. Wright, KY and Mary Evans of Paducah; two sons, Daniel Clements of Paducah and Charles Clements of Anna, IL; four sisters, Mary Eleanor “Penny” Lally of Paducah, Margaret Anne Osborne of Rockholds, KY, Catherine Webb of Louisville, and Barbara Cronin of Daytona Beach, FL; three brothers, Samuel Clements of Jacksonville, FL, Paul Clements and James Clements, both of Louisville; 14 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Services were Thursday, February 27 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father J. Patrick Reynolds officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Milner & Orr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 5645 Blandville Rd., Paducah, KY 42001 or Lourdes Hospice, PO Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002.
