Funeral services were held Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the Elkhart Baptist Church with the Rev. F.H. Griffin, pastor, officiating.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ida Webster Bennett; three sons, J. Delbert, Robert Lee, and G. Arvel Bennett; four daughters, Mrs. J.W.(Bulah Mae) Massey of Frisco; Mrs. George (Velma) Cheatham of Grapeland; Mrs. Edward (Thelma) Coleman, and Mrs. Coleman (Laura) Grigsby of Elkhart; a brother, Stephen A. Bennett; a sister, Emma Taylor, Elkhart.
Mr. Bennett had been a citizen of Elkhart for many years and his passing away is deeply deplored by the entire citizenship.

Their daughter Bulah Mae was born June 9, 1910. She was first married to J.W. Massey, then to a Morgan. Bulah Mae Morgan died August 14, 1999, burial place unknown to me.
