WILLSBORO -- Donna L. Ahrent, 61, of Willsboro, N.Y., died at her home on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., Dec. 27, 1946, the daughter of Dorothy Mae Mitchell.
She always had a smile and she loved to play cards and pennies. She had a love for all birds, but especially the hummingbirds in the summer.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence (Butch), whom she married Aug. 21, 1993; three children, Melvin Jaquish (fiance Renee Wood) of Plattsburgh, David Allen Jaquish of Plattsburgh, Amanda Lynn Ahrent (fiance Michael Hyde), of Willsboro; three grandchildren, Samantha and Justin Jaquish of Keeseville and Landon Hicks-Jaquish of Rouses Point; two uncles; four aunts; brothers and sisters-in-law, Betty and Jack Cross, Joyce Jacques and companion David Bachman, Carol Brown, Michael and Nancy Ahrent, Bobby and Dee Ahrent, Raymond Ahrent and Mary Baxton; a special nephew, Eddie Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother; and infant twin boys, Donald and Dennis; three brothers-in-law, Randy Ahrent Sr., Bucky Brown and Terry Jacques; as well as her wonderful in-laws, Clarence Sr. and Leola Ahrent.
Calling hours will be held at Huestis Funeral Home in Willsboro Sunday, May 4, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Monday, May 5, 2008, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Reverend Scott Seymour will officiate
