HATTIE ZIEMER

Mrs. Hattie Ziemer, 68, of 927 North Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Monday after-
noon at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Thursday at the Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theo. Uetzman will officiate and interment
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ziemer was born Hattie Kuehl in Kewaunee in 1885 and later moved to
Manitowoc. She was married to Alfred Ziemer in 1919. Her husband died in 1925.
For 15 years Mrs. Ziemer was superintendent of the fancy work and needlecraft
exhibits at the Manitowoc County Fair.
Survivors are a son, Alfred of Manitowoc, two brothers, William of Marshfield,
Wis., and Otto of Aledo, Ill.; and a grandchild, Barbara Ziemer of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after
Wednesday noon. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
