Mildred V. Zannacker, age 82, of 2005 Division St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc. Cremation took place and burial of her remains followed at Evergreen Cemetery. She was born March 22, 1922, in Valders, daughter of the late Harold and Isabel Knutson Christiansen. On June 28, 1947, Mildred married Dale H. Zannacker at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death March 17, 1997. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Starla Rae and David Byrum, Seminole, Fla.; one granddaughter: Trisha (Jason) Wood, Tampa, Fla.; three great-grandchildren: Deanna, Alexander and Jonathan Wood, Tampa, Fla.; one sister and one brother. Besides her parents and husband, Dale, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one infant sister. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the Zannacker family.
