He grew up in the St. Edward and Genoa areas. Ed married Betty Kush on June 17, 1961 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Krakow. Ed worked for Douglas and Lomason Company for 32 years and held positions as production manager and supervisor of the Columbus Plant, and Plant Manager at the Red Oak, Iowa plant for 2 years. He retired in 1997. He lived in Columbus, Leigh for 2 years, Red Oak for 2 years and then moved back to Columbus to reside. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and had served in the Army National Guard. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, woodworking, playing cards, and enjoyed going to antique auctions. He also loved spending time with his family.
