Jay Haviland Whitney, yougest child of William Henry Harrison Whitney and Susan Raymond Burnett, b. in Feb. 1874 (1900 census). He d. in Dec. 1963 at Kansas City, MO, the last surviving sibling of his family. At Kansas City when in his mid-40s, Jay m. a 20-year younger women with a small child, but the marriage soon ended in divorce and he left no known children. Jay and his two surviving siblings who also died at Kansas City are all interred at Lawrence, KS.
