Paul J. Van Zon(sic), age 55, of 1457 Elder Drive, Manitowoc, died Wednesday,
February 14, 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 1996, at Reinbold
and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Deacon William Klein will officiate.
Paul was born May 22, 1940, in Manitowoc, son of the late Joseph and Ione Hubbard
Van Zon. Paul owned and operated the Sandpiper Bar and Grill for 12 years. He
then managed the Fishing Village Marina, Two Rivers. Paul was a setup welder and
leader at Manitowoc Company prior to his illness. He married Laurie K. Kerber
August 5, 1989 in Manitowoc. Paul enjoyed fishing and weekend getaways at Little
Sturgeon with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie; children include, Brian and Janet Van Zon,
Two Rivers, Renee and Todd Zinn, Two Rivers, Jesse Cain and Jennifer Cain,
Manitowoc; one grandson, Brandon Zinn; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and
Warren Wagner, Colorado Springs, Colo., Lucille and Tom Husar, Appleton; special
friends, Dick and Cheryl Hebert, Manitowoc; Dick Moll, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., John
Engeldinger, Two Rivers, Fred Geerdts, Manitowoc and Bob Knoble, Two Rivers;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded
in death by an infant son, Paul.
Relatives and friends may call at Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, from 7 p.m. Thursday until the time of service.
