Brenda Evans Taylor, age 67 of Loganville, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 from C.O.P.D. Graveside services will be held 11AM Saturday, August 25, 2012 at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens, Lawrenceville, GA. Brenda was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Brenda showered love and attention on all her family and friends, always listening and counseling, and lending a helping hand. She worked at her own retail shop early on and later for several years as part of Rich's Security Team. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and sewing, and made several beautiful quilts for family members, especially her six grandchildren. She was also an excellent cook, enjoying recipes from her mother, cousins and other family members and friends. She was full of life, always trying new projects and interests, and providing an unending supply of creative activities for her grandchildren, who will always have a special place in their hearts for their Nana. She was preceded in death by her dear husband, James H. Taylor, formerly of Lilburn, who died at 67 from Alzheimers Disease. Brenda and Jim were married in Macon on August 12, 1967. Their twins, Jennifer and William, were born in 1971. Jennifer and her husband, Jeff, have three children: Parker, Jackson, and Gracie. William and his wife, Mary Alice, have three children: Adelaide, Mirabel and James Taylor. Brenda also leaves her brother Darryl Evans and his wife Dolly, sister-in-law Sylvia Allmon, Uncle Dupree and Aunt Verna Mae Blankenship, as well as several dear cousins, nieces and nephews.
