(Marshall) St. John. Bill served in the US Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Baker-Stengel Post #319. He was employed by Superior Overall for 28 years as a driver and salesperson, retiring in 1978. Surviving are his sons, Danny (Laurel) and Timothy (Jeanne) St. John; daughter, Cindy (Larry) Frandle; stepson, Dennis Ray Lytten; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Cook and Norene Cherry. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn; son, Michael St. John; sister, Thelma St.Johns Pieper; brother, Reginald St. Johns and sister, Eileen Dobbelare Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd, on Tuesday, January 2, 2006 beginning at 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Bill's memory are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
