Daughter of Dr. Samuel and Josephine Bolton Dickins. Information obtained from TN Death Certificate 762.
Martha "Mattie" Dickins married George W. Riley and was widowed. Her son was named George Dickins Riley. She later married R. J. Smithwick in 1903 but is listed as divorced in the 1910 census. She is responsible for gathering her Dickins and Bolton forbears together at Elmwood Cemetery.
