He married Alma M. Thom on Oct, 1933 in Ritzvile. Surviving besides his wife at the home; six brothers, Henry L. Nick, Louis, Ben and Dan Schafer and Ted Stuhr, all of Ritzville, four sisters Mrs. Anne Schafer of Ritzville, Miss Nora Stuhr and Mrs. Marie Creel of Seattle and Mrs. Allice William of Spokane; and may nieces and nephews.
