This is my Grandpa (Dziadzia in Polish). Unfortunately, he had a massive stroke in 1976. He subsequently had numerous mini strokes until he crossed over in 1981.
My fondest memories of Dziadzia were when he and Babcia would come over on Sundays after church. He would let me sit on his lap and "drive" the car around the neighborhood. :)
He came to America from Poland and worked 14 years here to save enough money to sponsor his wife Helena Sawka. and daughter (my mom) to bring them to America and reunite them all.
He crossed over so young. I so wish I had more time to spend with him.
