In Milwaukee, at the home of his daughter, October 25, 1886, Tosten K. Rogne, of the Town of Manitowoc. The deceased was born in Walders, Norway, Dec. 26, 1821 and came to Port Washington, Wis. In 1848. He married Sarah Thomson who survived him. In 1851 he came to Manitowoc County to settle in the Town of Liberty where he became a prominent citizen being repeatedly elected to town offices until his death. For some time he has been a sufferer from Brights Disease of which he finally died.
The remains were brought here from Milwaukee and funeral services were held last Wednesday at the Norwegian Lutheran Church which were attended by a very large number of friends of the deceased.
