From the Files of the Pilot - Twenty-Five Years Ago - (1896)
Mr. and Mrs. Max Rahr have suffered unusual affliction within the
last few weeks. All their children except one are grievously sick.
One, the youngest died and another has been hovering between life
and death. A Milwaukee physician was called in but he declared he
was unable to tell the nature of disease. The children are now
improving though very feeble from their long and severe illness.
