ROBERT RADUENZ

Robert H. Raduenz, age 79, formerly of 847 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, and most recently a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 10, 2004 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004 at Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate. AMVETS Post #99 of Manitowoc will accord military graveside rites. He was born Dec. 28, 1924 in Green Bay, son of the late Carl and Theresa Schleis Raduenz. Robert was a 1943 graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. On July 7, 1943, Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II and being discharged on May 26, 1946. After his naval service he attended the University of Nebraska (ROTC). On Sept. 18, 1948, he was married to the former Jacquelyne Marks at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Jacquelyne preceded him in death on Sept. 6, 2004. He was employed by Busch Agricultural Resources in Manitowoc as a malster, retiring in 1989. Robert was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and a life member of AMVETS Post #99 of Manitowoc. Survivors include his two sons and one daughter-in-law: Robert C. Raduenz, Manitowoc; Terry M. (Andrea) Raduenz, Manitowoc; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Nancy E. (Dennis) Greene, Spooner; Renee M. Smogoleski, Manitowoc; Michelle L. (Jay) Dondlinger, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Ronald P. (Carol) Marks, Chilton; Sandy (Jack) Meisner, Manitowoc; Lynette Marks, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his special dog, Madchen survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister, Helen Yunke. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery at the time of services. The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc is serving the Raduenz family.
