THE DEATH OF ELIZA PETERS
Mrs. Eliza Peters, wife of John W. Peters, died Friday afternoon at her home, three-fourths of a mile west of Gladden's corner, from a complication of diseases. Her condition had been serious for some time. She was born June 9, 1860, near Gladden's Corner, and was married to John Peters in this county March 1, 1882. Besides the husband she leaves the following children: Mrs. Floyd McGuire, of near Gladden's Corner, and Miss Ruth, who resides at home. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. T. P. Ellis, of Gladden's Corner, and two brothers, W. H. Gladden, of Stockwell, and Mark Gladden, of Gladden's Corner. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the residence. Rev. C. H. Leason officiated. Interment in the Concord cemetery.
