Harold was the son of Alexander Jonathan Ohnmeiss and Margaret Bertha Lorah. He won numerous architectural awards for his buildings worldwide. He was the husband of Nieves Rodriguz. He previously resided in Stamford, CT since 1959. As a youth he lived in Williamsport and later in Latrobe, attending Latrobe Highschool. He graduated in 1930 from Penn State College. He joined the Army Corps of Engineers. Also a consultant with Tarbella, the world's largest dam in West Pakistan. He also built Pan Am Terminal at the JFK Airport. He died in North Penn Hospital, Lansdale having been a patient there since Feb. 25.
