Born in West Hazleton, Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late J. Ellsworth and Charlotte (Johns) Betz.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tamaqua.
Survivors: Brother, Robert of Tamaqua; sisters, Jean Walters of Wooster, Ohio, Lois Sinton of Tamaqua; nieces, nephews.
Services: memorial, 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Arrangements, E. Franklin Griffiths & Robert C. Reeser Funeral Home, Tamaqua.
