He and his second wife, Anna D Koon, were introducted by a mutual friend in June of 1969 and married one month later!
He was a member of Living Baptist Church in West Columbia, SC. He loved to sing and he sang in the choir. He was a very good tenor singer.
His favorite phrase was "WELL GLORY" and is inscribed on his tombstone.
