with 40 years service. He was a
member of the Elmore Advent
Memorial Church.
Surviving: wife, Gertrude Joplin Hughart;
sons, Herman Leffie and Chester of
Charleston, Donald of Cleveand,
Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Mabel Ellen) Carte and Mrs.
Delcie Cobb (Buford) of Charleston;
brothers, John Dayton of Sissonville, Cinet
of Charleston; five half brothers;
sister, Mrs, Sarah Jordan of
Charleston; six half sisters; 17
grandchildren; 11 great-grandhildren.
