Margaret Capstick was the daughter of Thomas Capstick and Emma Maria Denyer. She was born in London, England. Both of Margaret's parents had died by 1900.
In mid-1911, Margaret married Albert McDavitt and in October of the same year, Margaret and her sister Dorothy, came to the US by way of Canada. They arrived in New York City from Montreal, Canada. From the ship's manifest, it appears that Albert McDavitt was already in the United States when the sisters arrived. What became of Albert is unknown at this time.
Margaret and Dorothy ended up in Texas and Margaret went on to marry David Ernest Erwin in December of 1926. Together they had two children, David Jr (Pat) and Dorothy Erwin.
Dorothy is my great grandmother and Margaret my great great aunt. I do not have any photos of either of the women and am looking for relatives that may have a photo of them and/or have any additional information about these mysterious women.
