Mrs. Charlotte Erickson was struck by a train while coming back from getting milk. She came to Lafayette about twenty-seven years ago from Vermillion County, Illinois and was well and favorably known.
She leaves behind a husband, John erickson, and the following sons and daughters: Charles and Oscar Erickson, of this city; Harry Erickson of West Point; Mrs. Ida Scott,of Clarence, ILL; Mrs. William Reene, of Stockwell, and Mrs. Amanda Munson and Mrs. Charles Hamerstadt, of this city; and 12 grandchildren.
Mrs. Erickson was a member of the Swedish Lutheran church and was a very estimable woman. The body will be taken to the residence, 1502 Grove street, some time today and the funeral will be conducted on Saturday.
