Mr. John Eide, age 79 years, a resident of Loretta, passed away at the Park Falls Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 17.

He was born in Pigeon Falls, WI, on Oct. 12, 1884.

Mr. Eide was employed for many years as a painter and interior decorator.

He was married to Lillian Kirchoff on May 13, 1940, at Milwaukee. Following their marriage, they came to Loretta where they made their home.

Survivors are his wife, Lillian; two sons, James of Cedarburg and John of Australia; three daughters, Mrs. Eleanore Conley of Can Nuys, CA; Mrs. Virginia Honneberry of St. Paul and Mrs. Joseph Passineau of Milwaukee; one step-brother, Gustave Lundberg of Pigeon Falls; one step sister, Mrs. Caroline Nye of Minneapolis; and seven grandchildren.
