Mrs. Drinks moved to Niagara Falls in 1972 and was a home health care aide with the Medical Personnel Pool for over 20 years. She graduated from Niagara County Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Drinks loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, playing bingo and cooking. She was a breast cancer survivor. Mrs. Drinks will be remembered as a friend to all she had met.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Sanja (Gordon) Drinks-Bruder, Tawanna Cook, both of Niagara Falls, NY, Joan Drink of Brockport, NY; a son, George Drinks, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY; five sisters, Doris Cook, Elsa (George) Bass, Margarette Jackson, Debra Potts and Wanda Johnson; two brothers, Henry Cook and Phillip (Jacquelyn) Potts. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Hiram Potts and Pheabie White.
