Thomas J. Corse, 69, residing in South Bend, IN passed away at 4:11 AM on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. Tom worked as Volunteer Policeman with the VIPS unit. He previously served as an EMT in South Bend and as a prison counselor.

Thomas was born on June 22, 1945 in Indigo, CA to James and Edna (Kincaid) Corse. On May 7, 1992 he married Nadine (Hoke) Hagey. Thomas served in the United States Naval Reserve.

Along with his loving wife, Nadine Corse, Thomas is survived by three daughters, Kimberly (fiancé Rico Williams) Corse of Elkhart, Lorrie Hoke of South Bend and Shirley (Shane) Penley of Buchanan, MI; two sons, Patrick (Wendy) Hagey and Loren Hagey both of South Bend; ten grandchildren, Charlotte, Ann, Makenzie, Chloe, Cory, Corbin, Jerrid, Tara, Theron, and Tori; 3 great grandchildren, Aurora, Reese and Ava; and one brother, Donald Smith of South Bend. Thomas was preceded in death by his sister.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Abraham Lincoln Veteran’s Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
