I am a distant descendant/relative of Silas O’Neal Cobb. The website indicates that he is buried in the Robertson Co. Texas Shiloh Cemetery where his parents (Clark and Susannah Cobb) are buried. However, I have been told by an O’Neal cousin of mine that he thinks that Silas O. Cobb is buried in Corinth, Miss., apparently where he died from wounds received in the nearby Battle of Shiloh, Tenn.

I have also heard back from Mrs. Collie and she has been able to shed a good bit of light on Silas O. Cobb’s final resting place in/near Corinth, Miss. He is probably buried in a grave marked “Unknown” in the old Confederate Camp
