Alice Marie "MeMaw" Boyd of Belton died February 26, 2014 at the age of 65. Alice was born March 18, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to Lee and Berniece Sneed. She was a much beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

She is preceded in death by husbands Raymond Boyd in 2011 and Marion McNiel in 1989.

Alice spent many years as a volunteer for Miller Heights Elementary School as well as a couple more Belton Schools. She loved being with children and being their "MeMaw". Alice also enjoyed making crafts such as keychains and bracelets which she was more than happy to share with the Belton community.

Survivors include one son, Alvis McNiel of Belton; one daughter, Laura Largent and husband Rodney of Belton; one brother, Lee Sneed, Jr. of Waco. Grandchildren, Justin Largent and Corbin Largent both of Belton. Heather Cecchine of Belton and Danielle Cecchine of Georgetown. Two great-grandchildren, Caleb Warne and Seth Kerr both of Belton. Alice adpoted three other daughters along her life's journey. They include, Kimberly Sue Arnold and husband Jeff of Belton, Melissa Harris and husband James of Copperas Cove and Teresa Gomez and husband Roy of Belton. Alice also made two special little girls her granddaughters along her way. They include Alyana and Elyisa Soto, both of Belton.
