James W. Bean Dies at Age of 82
Rockville, Md., February 8, 1913
James W. Bean, aged eighty-two years, died last evening at his home at Derwood, three miles from Rockville. He had been ill several weeks of the grip and other troubles. He leaves his wife and the following children: Mrs. John R. Carey of Washington, Henry T. Bean of Hagerstown, James R. Bean, John E. Bean, Mrs. Arthur Mullican and Mrs. James Reed of this county. The funeral will take place at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning from the family residence, burial to be in Rockville cemetery. Mr. Bean was a life-long resident of this vicinity.
