Dottie was the 8th child of Burr and Myrtle Sheldon and was born 35 miles from Douglas Wyoming.
They had a homesteaded there from Missouri.
She graduated from South High School in Omaha NE. in 1953.
Seven girls ran around together thru school and enjoyed many reunions, including 60th in 2013.
She met Frank Barna when they were 16. He was her prom date and they married July 18 1953. Dorothy said, "Frank is one of the kindest people, I have ever met, but with a gruff exterior.
Arizona became their home in 1985 and worked till their retirement in 2000. They then began traveling the United States, Mexico and Canada
