Lloyd Carl Algreen, the son of Vern and Edith Algreen, was born September 23, 1925 at Dexter. He was injured in a farm accident June 27, 1958 and departed this life Sunday, June 29th at 2:00 p.m. in the Adair County Hospital of Greenfield at the age of thirty-two.

Lloyd was united in marriage to Elfrieda Mathews December 30, 1948. Their four children are Erich, Lillie, Lloyd J., and Patricia.

Those surviving to mourn his passing are his wife and children, father and mother, two brothers Donald of Dexter and Pete who is in the Navy at Key West, Florida, other relatives and many friends.

Lloyd was a member of the American Legion and the Presbyterian church, both in Earlham.

Services were held at Dexter Methodist Church, Tuesday, July 1st at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Paul Textor officiating. Music was by Mrs. K M. Chapler and Robert Lawson.
