Mr. Zugg died April 6, 2003, at Veterans Nursing Center, Knoxville, Iowa. He had been a Realtor for many years. He owned and operated Woody Zugg Realty. Later, he worked in sales at several siding companies, including Jerry Harr Roofing and Siding. In his younger years, he was a Golden Glove boxer. He was born May 16, 1915, in Numa, Iowa. He married Gertrude Davis in 1940. She died in 1965. During World War II, he served with the Navy in the North Atlantic. Memorials may be made to the family. Mr. Zugg is survived by four nieces, including Darlene Ketelson, Nancy Hughes and Vivian Houck, all of Davenport.
